Our Process

Opportunity to Purchase

Step One:  Is your community for sale?  If yes, email us now and we will put you in touch with a Certified Technical Assistance Provider.  If not, sign up for updates from ROC USA® and let your neighbors and the community owner know you’re interested in forming a resident corporation to assess a purchase when it is for sale.  Then, get in touch as soon as you hear it is for sale.

Qualified Technical Assistance

Step Two:  A Certified Technical Assistance Provider can assist with organizing a resident corporation, assessing your community, and negotiating a purchase contract.

Community Purchase Financing

Step Three:  Your Certified Technical Assistance Provider will help you prepare loan applications, including one to ROC USA Capital, to help your community secure the best possible financing.

Resident Ownership

Step Four:  Gain security through resident ownership, receive start-up assistance, on-going training and linkages to other community leaders through your Certified Technical Assistance Provider and ROC USA® !

ROC USA®  Network and ROC USA®  Capital are the licensed service marks and assumed names of Resident Ownership Network, LLC and Resident Ownership Capital, LLC (respectively) and wholly-owned subsidiaries of ROC USA® , LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with IRS 501(c)3 recognition.
