There are so many cool stories from this period – stories of community leaders rallying in every possible way and public servants stepping up. ROCs are effective and long-lasting.

The job and life experience of the Board Members at these two refinancing co-ops are compelling both because of how well-equipped they are to meet the needs of their communities, and because I love that they’ve found safe and secure housing in a ROC!

Nothing beats hearing from ROC leaders

While our team, the Thistle-ROC team, and the lenders made the trip extremely important – and believe me, I really enjoyed seeing and talking with people in person for a change – it was the six co-op leaders who spoke that sent me home beaming with pride.

Scaling wide and scaling deep

The work by co-op leaders, the ROC Association Board and its committees, the TA affiliates, and ROC USA teams – along with a multitude of partner organizations – is helping to scale wide and deep and produce results for low- and moderate-income homeowners.

I’ve made a big decision…

It is a hard decision. A leader’s highest priority must be the mission and organization. I truly believe this transition is fulfilling my obligation to both ROC USA and ICS.

There’s a lot to be grateful for 15 years into our work together.

The ROCKET has launched!

Long our ambition, online training and peer networking at ROC USA benefited from the pandemic. It spurred us to innovate and deliver. We have begun utilizing technology to expand learning and peer networking in support of ROC leaders and Members across the country.

Revamped Vision and Mission along with new 3-year goals
