Interested in developing more tools to strengthen the financial health of your community?
This year, the National Association of Housing Cooperatives will be teaching attendees just that, as well as cover other topics like creating a maintenance improvement plan, developing a marketing plan and discussing new technologies for better management.
Grants are also being offered to those who want to attend the conference, but might not be able to do so. If chosen, the grant would cover the winner’s conference registration, air travel, hotel expenses, and provide them a per diem for the three-day event.
Applications are due by Aug. 10. To find out more information and/or apply, click here.
Once conference-goers return home, they will give a presentation on what they learned to others in the community to help teach them as well.
The event is being held in Phoenix, Ariz. from Oct. 24 to 27. More details about the courses can be found in the online brochure here.
