GREAT FALLS, Mont. — ROC Members at Missouri Meadows planned and planted a community garden this spring for the first time, and the efforts are truly paying off.
Staffers from NeighborWorks Montana, Missouri Meadows’ Certified Technical Assistance Provider, were on hand this week to help out with the harvest, and were very impressed with the results.
ROC Leaders at Missouri Meadows, a 33-site community that purchased in December 2011, reached out to their peers at Medomak Mobile Home Co-op in Maine, who laid out a community garden years ago with great success.
