Manufactured home communities briefly took center stage as the question/answer on “Jeopardy!” last week. The category was A Place to Stay and Alex Trebek wanted contestants to spell out the acronym “MHP.”
Glad to see more widespread recognition as a viable and desirable housing option, but we’re sure anyone reading this would have been able to correct the longtime host, suggesting that “MHC – manufactured home community” is a more accurate name for the 50,000 communities in the United States.
