Green Pastures Senior Cooperative, a 51-home community in Redmond, Ore., debuted its marketing website this week.
Resident Ted Viramonte, Green Pastures’ marketing liaison with ROC USA® on the project, said that it’s been well received by community Members.
“Everybody that’s seen it is all in a twitter,” he said. “They just think it’s great.”
Green Pastures residents purchased their neighborhood in 2009.
The community for adults 55 and older is close to Highway 97, only a 25-minute drive from Bend and located in the high desert of central Oregon. Portland and Eugene are each less than a three-hour drive.
Viramonte said the site is a great resource for residents to use in showing family members who live elsewhere what the community is like and really promotes the sense of the community experience in resident-owned neighborhoods.
ROC USA has built more than 50 marketing websites for ROCs all across the country. The sites serve as a thorough online real estate brochure designed to attract new members to either homes for sale of vacant sites. The service is part of the ROC Marketing Program and is free to ROCs that formed since ROC USA’s launch in 2008. Older ROCs can contract for a similar site for a fee.
