Want to guess where CLI will be in 2017?

Sunny Los Angeles!

And 2017 CLI applications are available now.

We know that successful resident ownership demands a great deal from community leaders like you. We want to give you every advantage we can. The Community Leadership Institute is one of the best training and networking opportunities we can offer!

More and more ROC leaders have attended CLI every year.

CLI is a free, four-day training conference for ROC leaders from across the country.

This fall, ROC USA® will take a large group of ROC leaders to Los Angeles in what has become a perennial favorite for community leaders and staff alike. And, we’re asking those leaders to stay an extra day to help draft ROC USA’s next strategic plan, our roadmap for the next few years.

The Los Angeles CLI will take place Oct. 12-16.

CLI offers a great opportunity to talk with community leaders from other ROCs, engage with ROC USA leaders, and take workshops on leadership. All of the attendees are volunteer neighborhood leaders, though ROC leaders are the only ones who represent an association that owns their communities. Everyone who has ever come has just raved about the value of the experience.

The detailed schedule for this year’s CLI is not yet available, but a great way to learn more about the event is from a previous year’s schedule. Click here to take a look and get a feel for CLI.

The application process is under way, with applications available online at www.myROCUSA.org. Applications will be due May 31. A little more than two weeks later (The week of June 16), ROC USA will notify applicants whether or not they’ve been accepted to the 2017 CLI.

Attending the CLI will not cost you anything other than your time and thoughts: ROC USA and NeighborWorks® America will cover the cost of travel, lodging, food and registration.

Check back in coming weeks to find an application and learn more about this year’s CLI!
