April Myers joined ROC USA® in September 2022 as the Communications Associate in the Communications Department.
April’s responsibilities include content generation, creating and managing marketing websites for ROCs, and assisting in media outreach for ROC USA. April has previously worked as journalist – both full-time and freelance – for magazines and newspapers across the country, including National Geographic Kids, The Washington Post and Engineering News-Record. She worked as a contractor for ROC USA since August 2020, designing marketing web sites for ROCs across the country. She also has a background in training, teaching, and nonprofit management.
April has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Delaware.
Outside of ROC USA, April enjoys the outdoors, traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
She lives in Louisiana with her family.
