Health, Safety
and Community
When homeowners purchase their manufactured home communities, they’re eager to improve their neighborhoods in ways that benefit everyone who lives there. As Resident Owned Communities (ROCs), homeowners at last have the ability to do so on their terms.

History
ROC USA’s Better Together Grants deliver real impact where it’s needed most. ROC leaders submit projects for funding which focus on visible improvements that improve neighborhood health and safety, community pride, and branding.
Winners are chosen by the ROC Association Directors. Since 2011, ROC USA has awarded almost $180,000 in Better Together Grants.
ROC Leaders understand the importance of reputation, both in attracting new homeowners and as a valuable part of their larger community. They often choose to rename and rebrand themselves at the time of purchase. Several ROCs have used Better Together Grant funding to install new signage, beautify community spaces and more.
