Nicholas Salerno

Chief Program Officer

Nicholas Salerno is a strategic and customer-centric leader serving as an Officer at ROC USA, where he is responsible for driving organizational transformation through networked systems development and oversight of Resident and Network Support. In this critical leadership role, Nicholas advances the organization’s growth and operational excellence by managing key functional areas including compliance, document management, network support, training and continuous learning, and national community organizing initiatives.

Previously, Nicholas served as Chief Operating Officer at ROC USA, where he was responsible for building, managing, and supporting day-to-day operations. He championed staff development and organizational growth, playing a central role in setting and implementing strategy and goals through the Strategic Planning Process.A seasoned community development professional, Nicholas brings more than 15 years of experience in operations, technology, and project management.

Prior to joining ROC USA, he served as Assistant National Director for the Senior Community Service Employment Program. He has a strong background in leading large, national, grant-funded programs, as well as developing and launching innovative new initiatives.

Nicholas holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and marketing from Saint Xavier University in Chicago and a master’s degree in sustainable development, community development, and social action from the School for International Training Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont.

Outside of work, Nicholas enjoys coaching and instructing CrossFit classes.
