Rob Wilson joined ROC USA in November 2021 as the Executive Vice President of Cooperative Solutions.
Rob leads, manages, and supports the Co-op Solutions Team, expanding ROC USA’s reach and activity and has been instrumental in developing ROC USA’s internal resident acquisitions team. Rob has served in various operating and expert manager roles in for-profit and non-profit organizations, including serving as Chief Business and Finance Officer of a Maine college, founding CEO of a national SBA 7(a) Small Business Lending Company, Chief Investment Officer of a leading New Market Tax Credits mission-oriented project finance investor, and COO of Boston Financial Group’s real estate investment banking group. His experience spans marketing, business development, investment management, commercial real estate, and finance and he has gravitated to situations involving growth, change, and innovation, often in environments relying heavily on partnerships and networks.
Rob graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1983, earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in metallurgy and materials science. He received his MBA in Business Administration and Management from IESE Business School at The University of Navarra in 1993. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Project Management Professional (PMP) designations and is a six sigma black belt.
Outside of ROC USA, Rob enjoys cooking, entertaining, sailing, kayaking, fly-fishing, cross-country skiing, non-fiction reading and building and fixing things.
He lives in Freeport, Maine, with his wife, Fiona, daughter.
