WASHINGTON, D.C. – Inclusion of the Manufactured Housing Community Infrastructure Improvement Grant program in the Build Back Better bill means hundreds of communities will ensure their neighborhoods are safe, secure, and resilient!

The Biden Administration and the many Members of Congress such as Rep. Maxine Waters, chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee, and Sen. Sherrod Brown, chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, as well as key committee staff who stood up for them and these often-overlooked affordable communities. The Administration understands that manufactured home communities have become an essential source of unsubsidized affordable housing. Thank you, Mr. President!

Talk about unsubsidized “naturally occurring affordable housing!” No better example than resident-owned manufactured home communities. President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda gets it!
