Why No Hawai’i?

Well, there are no manufactured home communities in Hawaii and no factories to build them — and given how much it would cost to ship homes there from the mainland, there probably never will be!

What makes a ROC Different?

Member Engagement

Each Member household has a vote on important topics like community rules, site fees, and who serves on the Board of Directors. Volunteers also serve on committees for events, beautification and more.

Training and Education

Members can access ROCKET, our online center for Knowledge, Education and Training, to enhance their leadership skills or dive into a wide range of educational and enrichment activities and programs. It’s bilingual and IACET-accredited.

Security and Stability

Site fees in ROCs increase at just a fraction of the rate of investor-owned communities – less than 1% a year on average. Members sign perpetual leases and enjoy lifetime security against unfair eviction.

No ROC is an Island

With more than 300 ROCs across the country, you’ll never walk alone. In fact the ROC Association brings together Members to help and celebrate one another ever month.

I got involved to help my neighbors. Before I got involved, I knew half of my neighbors. Now I know 80 percent of them, and it feels great to help. We control our own future and get to keep rents down for everyone.
