Network comes together on picnic area building project

Posted by Mike Bullard March 25, 2016

ROC USA Network spent an afternoon at Northwood Community in Pablo, Mont., last week. Northwood, a 44-site community about an hour north of Missoula on the Salish and Kootenai Tribes’ Reservation, became a resident-owned community in November 2014.

ROC USA staff and Certified Technical Assistance Providers from across the network met last week at their annual spring convening. They bused up to Northwood and, together with ROC Members, built a picnic table and 18 decorated pavers for the community’s common area.

Check out coverage in the local media here and a bunch of photos here.
