CONCORD, N.H.—The first virtual ROC Leadership Institute is underway and recordings of classes are available to watch on demand with a myROCUSA.org account.
Over the past five weeks, ROC Leadership Institute participants have attended online classes on subjects such as the basics of running a business and becoming a better public speaker. There have also been courses devoted to refinancing, property management, and in-fill for resident-owned communities. One session, called In-Fill from a Manufacturer’s Perspective, featured a guest presenter from Clayton Homes.
Recordings of the class sessions are available to watch on-demand with a myROCUSA.org account. Once you create a myROCUSA.org account, simply head to the ROC Leadership Institute Course Materials page and find the “Class Recording” button for each session.
One attendee said, “Our trainers were very enthusiastic and encouraging,” while another attendee found value in receiving handouts for each course. Handouts are also available for download on the ROC Leadership Institute course materials page.
There is also an on demand video available from the ROC Association New England Region presentation. In this 30-minute session, ROC Association Directors Lorie Cahill, Marjory Gilsrud and Kim Capen announced the launch of new peer-to-peer online calls, which will launch on September 5th at noon Eastern.
