Oregon resident-owned community goes online with marketing efforts

Posted by Mike Bullard November 17, 2016

Idleyld Park, Ore. – Attracting new homeowners to rural communities poses some challenges, but the Board of Directors of Umpqua Ranch Cooperative knows the vast majority of new home searches start online and are focusing their marketing efforts there.

Umpqua Ranch, a 110-site community along the Umpqua River about 200 miles south of Portland, engaged ROC USA to design and build a marketing website as part of the comprehensive ROC Marketing Program.

The site takes visitors on a video tour of the community and is filled with photos from all across the neighborhood. The Board worked with Heather Weste to describe the perks of Umpqua Ranch, Idleyld Park and ROCs in general.

Umpqua Ranch, a resident-owned community (ROC) since October 2015, hosts an array of social activities while offering its Members the security and stability of a ROC. It is an all-age community that works with CASA of Oregon for ongoing expert technical assistance.
