CONCORD, N.H. – Three resident-owned community leaders have been nominated by their peers to run for two Director positions on the ROC Association Board.
The winners will also serve as Directors on the ROC USA Board.
In the East, Midwest and South Region, incumbent Natividad Seefeld is being challenged by Richard C. Nereau. Seefeld serves as President of Park Plaza Cooperative in Fridley, Minn. Nereau is President of Lakeville Village in Geneseo, N.Y.
In the New England region, incumbent Kim Capen, former President at Medvil Cooperative in Goffstown, N.H., is running unopposed.
Ballots with full candidate profiles have been mailed to ROCs in the two regions with elections. It is very important that all ROCs cast a vote because the ROC Association bylaws require a quorum of 25 percent for a valid election – whether or not the election is contested.
Ballots are due to ROC USA Sept. 1.
If your ROC is in the New England or East, Midwest and South regions, be on the lookout for the mailing. If you haven’t received one by July 31, contact Deb Wyman at dwyman@rocusa.org.
