ROC USA Taps Wilson to lead Co-op Solutions service unit

Posted by Sammi Chickering January 18, 2022

CONCORD, N.H. — ROC USA® is pleased to announce that Rob Wilson has joined the social venture as the new Executive Vice President of Cooperative Solutions.

“Bringing Rob on is a continuation of a theme when adding new executive level talent,” said Paul Bradley, president of ROC USA. “Hiring people with experience in larger, national organizations – especially partner-based ones – to help us transition from our entrepreneurial start-up to a more disciplined phase without becoming un-fun, unassertive in pursuit of our mission, or bureaucratic.”

Wilson will be instrumental in leading and supporting the Co-op Solutions Team, striving to expand ROC USA’s reach and activity and working to make ROC USA even better than it is today. Wilson will focus on developing ROC USA Direct and collaborating with others at ROC USA.

Wilson brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked as the chief business and finance officer at St. Joseph’s College in Maine where he helped lead the efforts to build an alternative endowment of mission-aligned, income-earning business initiatives. He was also responsible for overseeing the facilities and maintenance operation on a 474-acre campus. He championed continuous improvement and innovation projects and helped navigate the institution through the many challenges related to COVID-19.

“I have known and admired ROC USA’s work for a long time and seen it recognized many times in a wide array of forums,” Wilson said. “I’m excited to combine my past experience with other things I’ve done and to do it at ROC USA, and I’m so excited about working with knowledgeable and experienced people here.”

Wilson graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1983, earning a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degrees in Metallurgy and Materials Science. He received his MBA in Business Administration and Management from IESE Business School at The University of Navarra in 1993. He lives in Freeport, Maine.
