ROC USA to Testify to U.S. House Appropriations Subcommittee on Thursday

WASHINGTON, D.C.—ROC USA Executive Vice President Mary O’Hara will testify to the U.S. House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD) on Thursday, May 26 at 1:30 p.m.

The Subcommittee hearing is titled “Manufactured Housing: Supporting America’s Largest Unsubsidized Affordable Housing Stock.”

O’Hara will provide written testimony to the committee on the statistics and benefits of cooperative resident ownership for homeowners in manufactured home communities. She will then provide five minutes of oral testimony at the virtual hearing and will be available to answer any questions from the subcommittee members.

Other witnesses include: Lance George, Director of Research and Information at Housing Assistance Council; Michael Liu, Director of the Miami-Dade Public Housing and Community Development Department; Dr. George McCarthy, President and CEO of Lincoln Institute of Land Policy; and Clemente Mojica, President and CEO of Neighborhood Partnership Housing Services.
