With an estimated shortfall of 4-7 million homes nationwide, the question isn’t IF mmanufactured homes are part of the solution, but HOW we can accelerate their use in producing and preserving more attainable homes.
Yesterday, we released a resource that answers that exact question!
Joined by practitioners from across the industry and across the country, The Lincoln Institute for Land Policy launched “State Policy Playbook: Expanding and Preserving Attainable Housing with Manufactured Homes.” Co-authored by ROC USA, Pew Charitable Trusts, and Next Step Network, the working paper serves as an actionable guide for state policy makers to increase housing supply, improve affordability, and modernize housing policy through manufactured homes. The day was filled with honest conversations about what works, where the challenges remain, and how we can get further faster together.
Read the paper and join us in expanding and preserving manufactured housing to address both the supply gap and affordability pressures.
