GENESEO, N.Y. – The homeowners at Lakeville Village will be smiling each time they come home this week.

Lakeville Village community leaders and residents toast the new signs recently installed at each of the ROC’s two entrances.

That’s because the 50-home community outside Rochester, N.Y., recently installed new signs at each entrance that are a dramatic improvement over their predecessors.

Board President Anne Radesi said the old signs needed updating since Lakeville Village changed its name when the residents purchased last summer with the help of PathStone, the ROC USA Network affiliate in New York. The signs were falling apart and couldn’t be repainted.

“We already took them down and burned them up!” Radesi said with a chuckle. “We love the new ones.”

The project took a couple months, she said. Praising the local contractor who worked with the Board to find a design everyone liked.

Some homeowners celebrated with new signs with a toast as they were unveiled.

“The new signs look terrific,” Radesi said. “And they gave us some rejuvenation, too.”
