Applications for the 2017 Community Leadership Institute are available now at myROCUSA.org.
For the second year, homeowners in ROCs across the country may apply online – a choice made by an overwhelming majority of applicants last year. It’s fast and easy, and available in English or Spanish. Applications in both languages may also be printed, completed offline, and mailed to the ROC USA® office in New Hampshire.
Applications are due May 31, and all applicants will be notified the week of June 16.
CLI is a free, four-day training conference for ROC leaders from across the country. It offers a great
opportunity to talk with community leaders from other ROCs, engage with ROC USA leaders, and take workshops on leadership. All of the attendees are volunteer neighborhood leaders, though ROC leaders are the only ones who represent an association that owns their communities. Everyone who has ever come has raved about the value of the experience.
This year’s event is Oct. 12-16 in Los Angeles. For 2017, we are planning an additional event on Sunday evening and Monday morning. The CLI participants will work with the ROC USA Board of Directors on our Strategic Plan. We will arrange the agenda and flights so you can return home on Monday.
Flyers advertising the event have been mailed to each ROC’s Board President and should be appearing around mailboxes and other public spaces in your neighborhood soon.
