Take a drive through Tucker Drive Co-op

Posted by Mike Bullard December 5, 2014

Members of Tucker Drive Cooperative in Contoocook, N.H., saw their ROC appear online today, and the site includes a quick jaunt around their neighborhood.

The 36-home resident-owned community opened as Elm Brook Village in the early 1990s and became a ROC on Valentine’s Day in 2002. Contoocook is village in the town of Hopkinton located along the Contoocook River and is home to two historic covered bridges including the oldest covered railroad bridge in the United States (the Contoocook Railroad Bridge. The ROC sits about 30 minutes from Manchester — New Hampshire’s largest city — and only 90 minutes from Boston.

The ROC board works with Gary Faucher of ROC-NH, the ROC USA-Certified Technical Assistance Provider in New Hampshire and a program of the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund.

The site (www.tuckerdrive.coop) features a description of the community and the surrounding area as well as automated real estate listings from MHVillage.com and a virtual driving tour of the community. All ROC USA Network communities have access to a discount on home listings and showcased community profiles — if you’re interested in learning more, contact ROC USA or your CTAP.

Liz Lisk, who works with ROC USA to build community websites like Tucker Drive’s, worked with Jay in the ROC to gather all the crucial details that customize the site for Tucker Drive.

This is the 31stcommunity website ROC USA has built for a network ROC.
